The layout of the stamps of the printing sheet is again the same as of the issues B and C. The stamps are printed on paper generally used for such purposes, with honeycomb water marks. Again only imperforated stamps were officially issued, but perforated stamps exist as in the case of issue C. During the German Army supported uprising of Niedra an unknown quantity of 3, 20, and 25 kap. unfinished stamps were stolen from the printing shop and later sold to collectors. These stamp sheets have no horizontal perforation , and are not gunned. On other occasions proofs printed on the back of soft drink labels were stolen and also sold on the stamp market. Theses have no philatelic value and are printers waste, which was not destroyed doe to lack of supervision of the printing shops. Below the dates and quantities printed are presented, as reported by Petrevics.
