As the existing stock of sun design definitives were used up, a new issue was printed between 9 March 1920 and 12 June 1921.  The first stamps in 1920 were printed on poor quality wove paper, but as the general economic situation improved the stamps in 1921, were printed on good quality white paper.  The stamps were printed by plates I and II.  Some stamps are printed in several color varieties: the 5 Kap. stamp in 3 color varieties (red and carmine in 1920, red orange in 1921), the 50 Kap. stamp in 2 color varieties (violet and gray violet).  These stamps were valid for postage until 1 May, 1922.
